2. Sex and your Sun Sign

The sun is not really the driving force of a person's sexuality, and you have to check your whole horoscope to decide to what extent your personality can be described by its Sun Sign — but still, it gives some clues to your sexual habits and preferences:

Sun in Aries tends to be impulsive and sudden, also in bed. Aries likes to be a conqueror, taking the initiatives and making things happen. Aries is quickly aroused and just as quickly satisfied — but soon ready to go at it again. Wham bam.

Sun in Taurus is almost the opposite of Aries — slow to move, slow to be aroused, but also slow to be satisfied. Taurus takes time, in a good way, and makes sure to do the work necessary. Taurus is not eager to seduce, nor easy for anyone else to seduce. It's a question of patience and persistence. Taurus is there for the long run, and very physical all through.

Sun in Gemini treats sex, like everything else, with a light heart, taking few things seriously. Everything is a game, and done with a great sense of humor. Sex, too, should mainly be fun, and not taken that seriously. The seduction is extended, so is foreplay. Intercourse, on the other hand, may be done in an instant.

Sun in Cancer is the most emotional Sun Sign, so sex without love or some other deep feeling is unthinkable. The partner is more important than oneself, so Cancer is very caring as a lover, but with the conviction of knowing what the partner needs, even when the partner might not agree.

Sun in Leo can get rather self-obsessed as a lover, being eager to impress but also to personally get satisfied. Leo usually needs to feel like the seducer, and the one taking the initiatives, although that's not always the case. To Leo, sex is kind of a performance, which should end with applause.

Sun in Virgo is careful, almost to a fault, and pays attention to every detail. Love-making by the book. Virgo needs to have some control of the situation, and wants to learn what the partner wants — as well as to teach the partner how to return the favor. It may be kind of technical, but it will do the trick.

Sun in Libra is hesitant, but still somehow forceful. Libra wants it to be perfect for both, which can lead to some moments of confusion, but also to long sessions of delight. To Libra, sex is the joining of two opposites, where they become like one in an embrace that is both physical and spiritual.

Sun in Scorpio is fascinated by the emotional dimension of sex and any erotic activities. Well, to Scorpio just about everything has an erotic ingredient. The attraction, the lust, and the passion bubbling under the surface, are the true delights of sex. The physical act may be a way to reach this, but far from the only way.

Sun in Sagittarius is elusive by nature, seemingly unattached by longing, lust, and such feelings. Therefore, Sagittarius is difficult to seduce, and rarely a seducer, but often attractive — because of it. Sex might be quick, as if meaning nothing, but sometimes, at the spur of the moment, intense as a forest fire.

Sun in Capricorn prefers to plan sexual encounters and then proceed according to plan. A seduction feels like cooperation, foreplay like a warm-up, and intercourse like work. It should take time, and it should have a lasting effect. It usually does. Capricorn is proud of making the most of it.

Sun in Aquarius is not much for routine, nor for making things simple. It is hard to figure out who seduces whom, or whose is the initiative, and nobody can guess where it's going or when it will be ended. Aquarius is sensitive to the partner's needs and reactions, but not that easy for the partner to read in the same way. Aquarius seems to want much more out of it than personal satisfaction.

Sun in Pisces is very sensitive to the needs of the partner, to the point of forgetting about personal needs. In spite of this sensitivity, Pisces is often unsure about pleasing the partner, as if fearing to be inadequate. Foreplay is long, sometimes substituting intercourse altogether. Also after sex, Pisces is very considerate and caring.
