Donald Trump's impeachment hits him harder than he can handle

The first two months of 2020 his presidency is in crisis

(January 15, 2020) Three years ago I predicted that Donald Trump would not resign before 2020, when he would have his biggest crisis as president. Well, that time has arrived — and with an impeachment trial. However the trial ends, Trump's future as president ends with it.

Here is my reading of Donald Trump's horoscope from February 2017, where I checked if he would resign from the presidency — and if so, when:

Will Donald Trump resign as president?

I wrote that it could not happen before the first two months of 2020, but whether he resigns or not his presidency is really over after that. I wrote: "That is when he loses whatever trust people had in him. He becomes just about impossible as president."

It doesn't necessarily mean that he is forced to resign. This is an election year. He might be allowed to linger on as a lame duck of sorts, until the inauguration in 2021. But I found it very unlikely that he would be on center stage at that moment:

"In any case, I very much doubt that he will be reelected or even runs. It depends on how he manages the crisis of early 2020. If he runs at all, he is bound to lose with such a margin, his ego will be all but devastated."

Two vicious planets oppose him

The astrological reason for this crisis of his in early 2020 is that the two most austere planets form opposition aspects (180°) to an equally severe planet in his birth chart horoscope. In January Saturn opposes his birth chart Saturn, the aspect being exact on January 12, and on February 13 Pluto forms the same aspect.

Saturn is the planet of duty and judgment. The opposition of transit Saturn to natal Saturn on January 12 (really for the period of a few weeks surrounding that date) means that Donald Trump has neglected his duties and suffers the consequences. Back in 2017 I wrote: "He can't resist choosing his private interests, even though it means betraying his official responsibility."

Just a month later, on February 13, the opposition between transit Pluto and his natal Saturn becomes exact — but Pluto is slow, so its effect can be noted for months surrounding that date, and it causes a drastic change that cannot be undone. I wrote in 2017: "What the Pluto transit signals, is a dramatic clash between Donald Trump's official duties and personal ambitions. What he must do and what he wants to do are incompatible. He tends to shake such stuff off and pretend it doesn't matter. But this time he cannot."

The damage is irreparable, because such is the effect of Pluto in transit. He will lose the one thing he depended on the most: "People who trusted him almost blindly lose faith in him."

What is left is a shadow of a presidency. It is not even of huge importance if he is able to remain in the White House until the coming election. Since his natal MC (Medium Coeli) is in trine aspect (120°) to the Saturn and Pluto transits, he might even feel relief. With the presidency, he bit off more than he could chew, and he could never adapt to the calamities and limits on his private life the job demands.

Time to cut his losses

There are two coming aspects confirming the importance of the above mentioned oppositions. Around March 22 transit Mars and Jupiter form an opposition to Donald Trump's natal Saturn, which also means they are in conjunction with transit Pluto.

His natal Saturn is in the 11th House, which is that of his public role, and the transit planets in the 5th House, that of his private needs and preferences. So, his public role suffers from events in his private life. Mars, reaching the exact aspect on March 21, causes complications. It can be a personal battle won or lost, but his public role is sure to lose on it. Jupiter, reaching the exact aspect on March 27, causes some success in his private life at the cost of his public position. If he is at all able to cut his losses by resigning, this is a good time to do it.

Comment added on December 23, 2021:

Trump managed the impeachment, but not covid-19

(December 23, 2021) When I wrote the above prediction, the impeachment was all over the news, but not yet a word about the covid-19 pandemic, although it was right around the corner. It would soon prove to be a bigger burden on Trump's presidency than the impeachment turned out to be. Although he had received early information about the pandemic, he neglected to act upon it. That may very well be what cost him the election. It should be noted that the Pluto-Saturn conjunction marking his problem, was also the astrological event showing the pandemic.

So, I was right about the time of his crisis, but mistaken about the cause of it.
